In 1947, Art "Señor" Campos founded Campos Foods — quickly becoming a pioneer in the Mexican food industry. In 1951, he first served what would become our flagship Original Salsa to customers at Campos Foods. By 1964, the Señor Campos restaurant franchises were born, taking the family's authentic flavors across California.
Today his son Stephen Paul Campos — a proud Vietnam veteran, author, and entrepreneur — continues the family tradition, hand-crafting every jar with the same recipe his father served decades ago.
